Our Mission in Education

We desire to fill a need for a better school system in our Province of Takeo, Cambodia. To better educate the children at A Greater Hope Orphanage is our first goal, educating the surrounding the children is our second goal, changing our community and country final goal. Our teaching starts with understanding that "Fearing the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, only fools despise wisdom and discipline". "Then you will understand what is Right and Just and Fair". "For Wisdom will enter your heart".

We'll strive for a pure teaching with high moral standards that will give our children A HEART FOR WISDOM


Needs and Wishes

This is a list of needed items the school could use your help with.

The top items are most important to us but feel free to pick something that tugs on your heart.
You don't have to afford the full amount to help or make a difference.  Any amount goes to reducing the over all cost and we appreciate the help.

All Cost are in USD.  
Rent:                   $100 a month
Teacher salaries  $700 a month   next year will be $1200 a month.
Electricity           $25   a month
Water                  $25   a month

School desks.      $10 each x 100 = $1,000.
White boards      $140 each x 5   = $700.
School books      $250 for 100 students
Supplies              $500 an estimate a year

Land Cost          $20,000 x 3 hectors = $60,000.
Land 1/2 mile closer to the road would cost us $150,000

Building cost      $15,000 x 12           = $180,000.
Buses                 $5,000 each x 5       = $25,000.

Over all projected cost for entire project is around $900,000.  US Dollars

Many other things we haven't thought of yet.
